If you read the GAL Journal every month, you will have a calendar of our events, reminders of deadlines and qualifying requirement, advance notice on upcoming opportunities, exciting previews of both our artistic side and our literary side, and sometimes a tip or two to make your creative life even easier.
Let's get started

If you applied to this show, you have by now, received notice of your acceptance. A one day show, Artfest is setup on 9/20 and operates all day on the 21st. Sponsored by the Multi-cultural club, this is a very generous show and one of our most successful efforts.
Check out the Guild's Facebook page. One opportunity or inspiration source is posted every day. Your GAL team is constantly looking for new events, shows, classes, and other chances to flex our collective creative muscles.
NEXT MONTH we will start a suggestions section in the Journal. If you have a tip on improving everyone's work, submit it to me and I will make sure it is shared. In two shows now, we have art that threatens to fall from the wall because the work is on glass and the artist can't use screws and other hanging concepts. If you have a solution, let me know and we will share it.
